Turkey sets up testing labs in northern Syria

Turkey has set up five laboratories for Coronavirus testing laboratory in areas in northern Syria. The facilities were organized by the prefecture of Sanliurfa, a province on the southeastern Turkish border, in cooperation with an NGO. Turkish media said the laboratories are in the strategic areas of Tal Abyad and Ras al-Ain, which were taken from the Kurds by Ankara following military operations in October 2019. Tests in the facilities are among the requirements for people who intend to enter Turkey from Syria.
