Taliban Reportedly Holding American In Custody, Along With Other Westerners

An American citizen is being held by the Taliban in Afghanistan, according to the Wall Street Journal, which has now detained at least nine foreigners.

It’s not clear what they’ve been arrested for, but most have worked in the security sector and some had helped Afghans flee the country during the Taliban takeover, while two are journalists, according to the Wall Street Journal.
