I want to share this good news amid the tragic scene in Lebanon and the COVID-19 repercussions, which have exhausted the Lebanese people, the country has finally reported good news about its response to this pandemic. The head of the National Committee for COVID-19 Vaccination, Dr. Abdel-Rahman Al-Bizri, tweeted the following on Thursday: “Lebanon’s classification will change soon from the fourth epidemiological stage to the third stage, and this reflects the amount of improvement in indicators related to COVID-19 and the decrease in the percentage of new cases. It is our duty to preserve and maintain these achievements through social distancing, adherence to scientific recommendations, and an increase in the vaccination rate.”
