Lebanon suspended AstraZeneca’s Covid-19 vaccine

Saw this news online that according to Lebanese Acting Health Minister Hamad Hassan that no quick decisions that have been made that could endanger Lebanese people’s health. He also explained that the first shipment of AstraZeneca shots were due to arrive in mid-March, but the company postponed it. More than 30 pharmaceutical entities and drug stores in Lebanon received permission to negotiate vaccine purchases, whenever they provided it free of charge to citizens. From February 2020 to date, Lebanon has accumulated about 427,000 contagions and 5,536 deaths from Covid-19.
