Iranian COVID-19 vaccine was unveiled and injected into 3 volunteers

COVID-19 vaccine made by Iranian researchers, was revealed and injected into three volunteers during a ceremony on December 29, 2020. The first volunteer who received the vaccine was the daughter of Mohammad Mokhber.

The head of the Information Center of the Ministry of Health, Kianoush Jahanpour, said that 72% of Iranians are willing to receive the coronavirus vaccine. There are 16 Iranian companies that are working to produce a COVID-19 vaccine. Jahanpour said that so far 12 companies applied to produce the vaccine, of which eight are operating, one of the companies have entered the human trial phase, and two more companies will soon test the vaccines on humans.
