Filipina household service worker in Kuwait found dead

A Kuwait-based Filipina household service worker (HSW) was found hanging and with a cut in her wrist inside her room.

Kuwaiti police, who responded to the distress call by the victim’s employer, brought the Filipina worker Gladys Olarte Fong to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival.

Fong’s remains were brought to a mortuary for forensic investigation to determine the real cause of her death.
